S1 E1: From Ezra to the Essenes: The Cradle of Messianic Judaism

What were the beginnings of Messianic Judaism? This episode begins the story with the Persian King Cyrus' decree sending 42,600 exiles back to Jerusalem and continues to show how events following Ezra's arrival in Jerusalem created the social and political world into which Yeshua was born. 

A New Perspective

As the first episode of the podcast, Dr. Nessim does a good job in telling us "the rest of the story" of Chunukah and it's connection to the Temple during Yeshua's time. He also lays the foundation of how the actions of the Maccabees tied into the establishment of both the Pharisees and Sadducees. I definitely "all in" to hearing more. Quite fascinating.

I really liked the first episode and I also love that he talks about a topic that is not common which is Messianic Judaism.
