💁🏻 Concept: In Christ The phrase “in Christ” (in Him, in whom, in the Beloved, in the Lord) was mentioned over 200 times in the New Testament. To be “in Christ” means that a believer is united with Jesus through faith. This union with Christ is the foundation of the Christian life. In Him, we find our identity, our righteousness, our strength, and our purpose. Being in Christ means that we have access to all the spiritual blessings He has to offer—His forgiveness, His righteousness, His love, and His eternal life. It is in Christ that we live, move, and have our being. Our position in Him transforms us, and through Him, we can do all things.

    📖 Bible Readings: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (John 15:5; Romans 8:1-2; Ephesians 1:3-14; Philippians 3:8-9; Colossians 2:6-7; Galatians 4:4-7; John 1:12; John 3:18, 36; 1 John 3:1; Romans 8:32)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. Being in Christ gives us a new identity. 2. Being in Christ gives us a new legal position. 3. Being in Christ gives us access to all blessings.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Ask God’s blessing in the name of Jesus. 2. Approach God through Christ’s holiness. 3. Appreciate God for our union with Christ.

🎙Discussion: How does understanding your identity as being “in Christ” enable you to ask God’s favor and blessings?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord God, thank You for the gift of being “in Christ.” I am overwhelmed by the fact that my identity, my security, and my future are all bound up in Christ. I have all the access to all Your blessings and favor all because of Jesus. Please help me to live in the fullness of what it means to be united with Jesus—clothed in Christ’s righteousness, empowered by Your Spirit, and sustained by Your love. May I never forget that I am not alone, rather I am positionally in Christ and forever be with God. Help me to walk in the victory You have already secured for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Incarnation The incarnation refers to the act of God the Son, Jesus Christ, taking on human flesh. He became fully human while remaining fully divine. Jesus did not simply appear as a man or take on a temporary human form—He truly became one of us. The incarnation is the ultimate expression of God’s love, as He stepped into our world, experienced our struggles, and made a way for us to know Him. Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and in His humanity, He fully identifies with our weaknesses.

    📖 Bible Readings: Colossians 2:9 (John 1:1-3, 14; Philippians 2:6-8; Hebrews 2:14-18; Luke 2:10-11; Matthew 1:23; Galatians 4:4-5; 1 Timothy 3:16; Mark 10:45; 1 John 3:16; John 15:13)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. The Incarnation proves Christ’s sacrificial love. 2. The Incarnation proves Christ’s sacrificial giving. 3. The Incarnation proves Christ’s sacrificial service.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Love Jesus with every fiber of your being. 2. Lay down your comfort in order to serve. 3. Live the sacrificial, incarnational life of Jesus.

🎙Discussion: How does the Incarnation of Christ inspire us to leave our comfort zones in order to serve God?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus. I stand in awe that Your Son, the eternal God, became flesh to dwell among us. I praise You Jesus for taking on human nature—experiencing our pain, our joys, and our weaknesses. You did not stay distant, but You came near, offering Yourself as the perfect Savior. Holy Spirit, help me to have a better understanding of God’s love through incarnation. Help me to cherish Jesus and love Him with all my heart. Please, enable me to live the sacrificial, incarnational life of Christ. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Imputation To impute means to credit something to someone’s account. In the Bible, God imputes Christ’s righteousness to us, meaning He considers us righteous because of what Jesus has done, not because of our own works. Similarly, Adam’s sin is imputed to all of humanity, meaning we inherit a sinful nature. However, in Christ, the righteousness of God is credited to us, and our sins are forgiven. This divine transaction is the foundation of our justification.

    📖 Bible Readings: Romans 4:3 (Romans 4:1-8; Hebrews 10:14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:19; Philippians 3:9; Galatians 3:13; Isaiah 53:6)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. Our righteousness is not earned, but imputed. 2. Our sins are covered by the blood of Christ. 3. Our obedience is a result of faith in God.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Rest in the imputed righteousness of Christ. 2. Rejoice that our righteousness comes by faith. 3. Remain obedient as evidence of faith in Christ.

🎙Discussion: Why is positional holiness always followed by practical holiness?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord, thank You for the incredible gift of imputed righteousness. Though I am unworthy, You have credited Christ’s perfect righteousness to my account. I stand before You, not by my own merit, but by the grace of Jesus. Help me to live in the freedom that comes from knowing my sins are forgiven and I am made righteous in Christ. May I never take this gift for granted, but live in humble gratitude, sharing the hope of this good news with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

    📖 Bible Readings: James 1:17 (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; Numbers 23:19; Psalm 102:25-27; Isaiah 40:28; Nahum 1:7; Hebrews 10:23; Matthew 4:35; Romans 4:21)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: Three implications of God’s immutability: 1. God will always be good. 2. God’s promises are always reliable. 3. The God of the Bible is the same God we have today.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Find peace in God’s unchanging character. 2. Rely on God’s Word and His promises. 3. Know God and live accordingly.

🎙Discussion: How does knowing that God never changes help you face life’s uncertainties?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Unchanging God, I thank You for Your immutability. In a world that constantly shifts, I find peace in knowing You are always the same—faithful, loving, and true. When my circumstances are uncertain, remind me that Your character and promises are rock solid. Help me to trust in Your unchanging goodness and to stand firm in my faith, knowing that You will never fail me. Let me find security in Your eternal nature and be anchored in the hope that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Imminent The imminence of Christ’s return means that His coming could happen at any moment. While we don’t know the exact time, we are called to live in constant readiness and anticipation. Christ’s return is certain, and it will be glorious—bringing justice, restoration, and the fulfillment of all God’s promises. The call to be ready is not one of fear, but of hope, urgency, and faith, knowing that Christ is coming to make all things new.

    Personal View:

Agree: I agree that Christ’s return is imminent in the sense that we do not know the exact date of His return. Disagree: I disagree, however, that Christ’s return could happen at any moment. I believe He will return after the triumph of the Great Commission and the defeat of most of His enemies (see Matthew 28:18–20; Psalm 110:1; Acts 2:34–35; Hebrews 10:12–13; Daniel 2:35, 44; Matthew 13:31–33; Revelation 11:15; Isaiah 2:2–4; 1 Corinthians 15:24–26).

    📖 Bible Readings: Hebrews 9:28 (Matthew 24:42-44; Matthew 25; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 22:12; Mark 13:32-37; Luke 12:35-40; 2 Peter 3:10; 2 Timothy 4:8; Titus 2:11-13; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:20; Hebrews 9:28)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. We will see Christ “soon” before His return. 2. The return of Christ completes redemption. 3. Christ will come after defeating most of his enemies.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Face death with excitement. 2. Participate in the conquest of the world. 3. Long for the return of Christ.

🎙Discussion: What makes you excited to meet Jesus?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord God, I wait in eager expectation for the return of Jesus. Help me to live with readiness and enable me to participate in the advancement of the Great Commission. Strengthen my heart to live faithfully, even in the midst of uncertainty. May I use my time wisely, serving You and others, so that when You return, I will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Fill me with hope and joy, knowing that Christ’s return will bring all things to completion and restore all things. Until then, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Immanent To say that God is immanent means that He is not distant or detached from His creation. God is actively present in every part of the universe and especially in the lives of His people. His presence is not far off; He is involved, near, and working within the world to accomplish His purposes. He is both transcendent (beyond creation) and immanent (within creation)—a God who is both with us and beyond us.

    📖 Bible Readings: Acts 17:27-28 (Psalm 139:7-10; John 14:16-17; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 13:5-6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18; Matthew 6:6)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. God’s immanence means He is always present. 2. God is working for good through our struggles. 3. God invites us to live in communion with Him.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Trust God at all times. 2. Thank God in all circumstances. 3. Take time to commune with God regularly.

🎙Discussion: How does understanding that God is actively involved in your life help you face challenges?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Emmanuel, God with us, thank You for being near, for never leaving me or forsaking me. When I feel alone, remind me that You are right here with me. In my struggles, let me remember that You are working in ways I cannot always see. Help me to live in constant awareness of Your presence and to trust that You are always at work for my good and Your glory. Strengthen my heart and give me peace, knowing that You are immanent, in every moment, with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Image of God Being made in the image of God means that every human being reflects something of God’s character—we are rational, moral, creative, relational, and spiritual. We were created to represent Him on earth, to reflect His glory, and to live in loving relationship with Him and with others. Though sin has marred that image, it has not destroyed it. In Christ, we are being renewed to once again bear that image more clearly.

    📖 Bible Readings: Genesis 1:26-27 (Psalm 8:4-6; Colossians 3:10; Ephesians 4:24; James 3:9; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; James 4:6; Matthew 23:12; Philippians 2:3; Romans 12:16; Exodus 23:6; Leviticus 19:15; Proverbs 17:15)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. All people are equal in value and dignity. 2. Looking down on people is looking down on God. 3. Living in God’s image means living like Christ.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. View all people as image bearers of God. 2. Never look down on others. 3. Treat all people equally and fairly.

🎙Discussion: How does knowing you are made in God’s image affect the way you see yourself—and others?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Creator God, thank You for making me in Your image. Though sin has distorted who I was meant to be, I praise You that through Christ, I am being made new. Help me to see the dignity You have placed in every person, including myself. Teach me to reflect Your love, purity, and justice in my words and actions. Let Your Spirit shape me into the likeness of Christ more and more each day. May I live with confidence and compassion, knowing I was made to represent You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Hypostatic Union The hypostatic union is the mystery and majesty of Christ being fully God and fully man in one person—without confusion, change, division, or separation. Jesus did not lose His divinity when He took on humanity, nor did He become less human because He was God. In one glorious person, the fullness of God and man dwell together. This union makes Jesus our perfect Mediator—able to represent God to us and us to God. He understands our weakness, yet has the power to save.

    1. God can save but cannot die. 2. Man can die but cannot save. 3. Jesus is truly God and truly man—able both to die and save.

    📖 Bible Readings: John 1:14 (John 1:1-14; Colossians 1:19-20, 2:9; Hebrews 4:15; Philippians 2:6-7; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 2:17, 7:25; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Romans 5:10)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. Jesus Christ must die by becoming human. 2. Jesus, the God-man, reconciles God and humans. 3. Jesus is the Ruler of both heaven and earth.

💪🏼 Applications: 1. Trust that Jesus has suffered all your sufferings. 2. Believe that Jesus can save you to the uttermost. 3. Surrender all to Jesus, the Great King of both heaven and earth.

🎙Discussion: Why is it important for your Savior to be both fully God and fully man?

🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the perfect union of heaven and earth—fully God and fully man. Thank You for coming near, for wrapping Yourself in humanity while never ceasing to be divine. You are able to save completely and to sympathize deeply. I worship You as the God who knows my pain and the Lord who reigns with power. Help me to never lose the wonder of who You are. Let this truth anchor my heart, especially in moments of weakness. May I draw near with confidence, knowing You are with me and for me. Amen.
