  • URFC: Unbreakable in the Bay
    Oct 3 2025

On today’s episode, we’re talking about the red-hot Utah Royals, who extended their unbeaten streak to seven games with a 2–0 road win over Bay FC. The crew breaks down another big victory and catches up on all things NWSL and our beloved Royals, including heartfelt congratulations and farewells to two players who each left their own legacy. Olivia Griffitts has hung up her boots, while the Royals pay well-deserved tribute to midfield maestro Claudia Zornoza — a true leader and difference-maker whose impact won’t be easily replaced. We celebrate Mia’s stellar save of the week, Aisha’s first league goal, and the debut of the NWSL’s first Slovenian, welcoming Lara as our new No. 9 and #9! With just four match weekends remaining, URFC heads to Chicago next. Can they keep the unbeaten streak alive? Tune in on Sunday and cheer on our gals. COYR!

  • URFC: The Royal Spoil Continues
    Sep 24 2025

Sean, Brooke, and Maggie (plus Stockton for fans who stick around until the end!) are back to break down all things Royals. From a six-game unbeaten run to the climb into 13th place and the joy of playing spoiler down the stretch, home fans were rewarded with a two-win week at the Riot. Taking down the Houston Dash and Racing Louisville in just a six-day span, we got to celebrate incredible team form as well as some individual masterclasses.

Captain Paige Monaghan’s streak continued, Janni Nation flew their flags high, Kaleigh Riehl found form on both sides of the ball, and Cloe Lacasse was back on the scoresheet (only aiming for the upper 90, of course). And what would a week be without Mina Tanaka dazzling Royals fans, NWSL viewers, and anyone lucky enough to witness the goal of the week winner, goal of the year contender, and mind-boggling skill behind that finish?

We also preview our game against expansion comrades Bay FC this upcoming Saturday and talk through the almighty playoff generator (created by Alison Gale — https://bsky.app/profile/agale.bsky.social) to see just how our beloved Royals could pull off a historic (albeit nearly impossible) run to the postseason. Can you help us find the most realistic outcome? Check it out here: https://playoffs.alisongale.com

  • URFC: A Paige Turner in North Carolina
    Sep 10 2025

Today's episode is a fun one! The URFC squad is back to break down a rainy showdown in North Carolina, where the Royals battled to a dramatic 1-1 draw (or a 2-0 win, depending on who you ask). Paige Monaghan stays hot with her second goal in as many weeks, and the Royals brought the heat with a high press, battled through a weather delay, and delivered pure NWSL After Dark chaos in the final 15 minutes. After a soft penalty saw them go down in the 89', the squad showed serious heart and snatched a late equalizer in the 90+4'. We welcome the team back to the Riot on Sunday, where they’ll face the much-improved Houston Dash as they continue to fight their way up from the bottom of the table. COYR!

  • URFC: Thorn in Their Side
    Sep 5 2025

THREE POINTS! A WIN FOR THE ROYALS! CAPSLOCK 100% NECESSARY! The full URFC pod squad is here to celebrate in today’s episode, bringing home three points and a massive win in Portland that proves we really are the thorn in their side (two wins at Providence Park over the past two years? LFG). Paige Monaghan delivered a goal to remember, KK Ream made NWSL history as the youngest goal-scorer ever at just 16, and Mandy McGlynn put in the kind of performance you’ll be telling your kids about. Slovenian midfielder Lara Prašnikar is officially signed but won’t be available this weekend as she waits on visa clearance. Now we keep that momentum rolling into North Carolina and push our way out of last place. Nowhere but up from here - COYR!
