SJ would be the next to die.

At least that’s how it seemed to his worried sister in-law, Mimi. Sitting next to him in the hallway of the morgue and even through her own grief, she questioned his health; that if left alone he might take his life out of despair.

SJ’s wife and Mimi’s sister, lay on a steel table in the room over, technicians actively cutting into her body.

Mimi hoped this autopsy would tell them how her sister ended up dead inside of her newlywed home after just 3 months of marriage.

SJ hoped they wouldn’t notice the light red markings on his wife’s neck but knew her cause of death would be revealed.

So he starts building his ‘alibi,’ “You know…I’m someone with a very strong sexual desire-“

Caught completely off guard by his statement, Mimi just stares at SJ, “…What?”

“I’m a person with strong desires, you know, but your sister would never let me touch her.”

It likely didn’t take long for Mimi to consider that SJ dying next wouldn’t be all that bad.

“From today, I’m logging off this account for good.”

This was a status update made to a small, personal Facebook account on June 10, 2025. Just a month later, the post goes viral amongst some netizens because the man who ‘posted’ this to his Facebook?

He died 6 months ago.

And thousands of those netizens had already witnessed his murder.

They had seen the butcher knife slamming down onto the man’s neck over and over again. They call the killer the “butcher.” The butcher even took the time to pose with the man’s severed head in a mirror selfie.

How do you post on facebook 6 months after your own murder? Is this post going to help people find the killer? And how do thousands of netizens witness a man’s murder?

This is the case of the Vietnamese Butcher.

“There’s no such thing as steps,” and “they were two peas in a pod.”

These are statements made by Anna Kepner’s grandparents who were with her on the cruise when she died. Her body was found under the mattress and her cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation.

Which is what makes this comment particularly odd to some netizens...because Anna’s grandparents are referring to her relationship with her 16 year old step brother.

The very step brother who was the only other person in the room around the estimated time of death. The very step brother who is now a suspect in Anna’s murder.

They are not the only suspicious adults in this case though. Anna’s biological father and her step mother, the mother of the 16 yo step brother, who were also on the cruise with the family were seen over a month after Anna’s murder, walking from court, their faces completely blank yet gripping each other’s hands.

Anna’s father has just lost his daughter yet he seemingly appears closer than ever to his wife and the mother of the murder suspect.
