Roger Madelin on Challenges for Development

Roger joined British Land in February 2016 after 29 years at Argent and leads the project at Canada Water. Previously, he led major projects in Manchester, Birmingham, and the 58-acre King’s Cross Development. He was awarded a CBE for Services to Sustainable Development. This programme outlines some of the significant political and economic challenges faced by developers, the costs and risks involved, and what might be needed to turn the construction industry around.
