Not only was the brutality breathtaking, but Robin's 2 year old daughter was left with her mother's corpse for two whole days. This case confounded Fairfax County police, because Robin had no enemies, yet the crime of passion clearly targeted her. A prime suspect emerged whom police were convinced did it, only to be disappointed by DNA results. DNA ID is my hands-down favorite podcast! This episode is well-written and respectful of the victim, the victim’s family and friends, as well as law enforcement. Jess does a fantastic job researching and presenting this complicated and heart-breaking story. I’m glad the perpetrator was alive so that justice could be served and I hope Robin’s family, especial her daughter, are able to heal.
