A Colorado native, she started gymnastics at age five, but a serious injury forced her to leave the sport at fourteen. Years later, a devastating car accident left her with a severe spinal injury, and during her second pregnancy she sustained additional disc damage that ultimately placed her on disability. Doctors told her she would never be an athlete again.For years, Angela believed that chapter of her life was closed.Everything changed when her best friend was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.
