Welcome to our very first season!! At Reviving Her, we are digging in surrender! We are discussing what surrender looks like in the eyes of our Father and sharing our real-life experiences of surrendering! In each episode, we will peel back the layers of surrendering. We begin by discussing how our first act of surrendering is our act of salvation. Our salvation leads us to our first form of surrender to our Father, which makes us a target for Satan. Then, we discuss what surrendering our control looks like. We all tend to let go of some parts of our hearts and childhood trauma, but then there are those parts that we will not allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us about it. We share how hard it is to let go but then, we discuss the reward we gain if we do. We dig in, surrendering our worry, our idols, and our imposter syndrome. You do not want to miss out on these episodes!! Come join us for our surrender series!Copyright 2021 Jackie Crawley Cristianismo Espiritualidad Ministerio y Evangelismo

  • Episode Ten: Surrendering Our Imposter Syndrome with Pastor Hannah Hooker
    Jun 11 2021
Now that we live in a social media Era, we have subconsciously adapted the idea that everything in our life has to be perfect and social media worthy. We strive to tidy up our relationships, beauty, and so many other things to make it appear as if they are perfect, when in fact we are all flawed. But, the reality is that Jesus Christ died for our human flaws and sins. He died for our brokenness. God isn't calling "Us" to be perfect, but for us to accept the one true living God who is and His righteousness makes us perfect. As a Christian, we aren't relying on our strength, but the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ. This births a freedom to not have to have it all together. We don't have to hide our human flaws, because He is made perfect in our weaknesses. The more we are real with who we are and share with others, other people get to see the Glorious miracle power of Jesus Christ. It's time to be unapologetically us. It is time to not be ashamed of our humanness, but to embrace it and share with the world who Our God is! Join Pastor Hannah Hooker and myself as she shares her perspective on surrendering her Imposter Syndrome.

  • Episode Eight: Surrendering our Idols with Delores Hines
    May 14 2021
It's easy to say that there isn't anything greater than my love for God. Unfortunately, we know that this isn't always the case. Our family can be idols. Our kids can be idols. Our emotions can be idols. Our job position can be idols. Our ministry can be idols. We are creatures created to worship God, but we tend to devote this gift to other things that steal our attention away from God. Join Delores Hines and myself as we unpack this hard reality and how the Holy Spirit meets us where we are. May we stand together and fight the good fight of destroying our idols and placing our misplace worship back to our Almighty God!
