Review: Pan's Labyrinth

Wouldn't you love to believe in fairy tales again and that you may be royalty in the underground? Well thats what happens to Ofelia as she is brought to a camp in the woods to meet her new stepfather during a Spanish revolution. A dark and ominous war film mixed with the whimsical style of fantasy telling both sides of the story that feels separate but one at the same time. A magical start to a new year especially for those who believe "they were home to creatures who were full of magic and wonder".
