While the world and language of Revelation can feel daunting to the modern reader, we must not forget that it is God's gift to us. Through the study of Revelation the Lord confirms and comforts the church with the truth of Gospel, while also challenging the church to live faithfully from the Gospel in our present moment, to pledge her allegiance to Christ alone. It comforts us with a song, "All must be well," while also challenging us with a calling, "Go, then, and live well."
