    Sean Lyons is a Partner at Up Hospitality Partners in Nashville. Sean got his first job in a restaurant when he was 13 at a Spanish restaurant in Chicago. At this early age, he knew he wanted to own a restaurant one day. Sean went on to study hospitality and then finance at Purdue University while also training to become a competitive ballroom dancer. From 2016-2018, he worked for Hillstone Restaurant Group. He then began working for Dream Hotel Group which brought him to Nashville in 2018. He eventually took over the longstanding Germantown Cafe with his partners and now Up Hospitality Group owns 3 restaurants, including Germantown Cafe, as well as Park Cafe and Karrington Rowe. Must Listen for New Restaurateurs

I’m a new restaurateur who opened mid-pandemic. I’ve already gotten so many tips from Eric and this podcast that have saved me time and money. From website creation, the importance of building a guest database and how to get to profitability. And the format is easy and entertaining to listen to. Thanks Eric!
