  • Foundational Beliefs Series | The Message of the Bible
    Jul 16 2025

In this third instillment of our "Foundational Beliefs" series, Pastor Nate Walker dives into John 18:1-11 to unpack the central message of the Bible. The sermon answers three crucial questions:

Who is Jesus? He is both the true human, the Second Adam who restores our broken humanity, and the true God, the sovereign "I AM" in control of all things, even His own arrest.

What is wrong with us? By nature, humanity is at war with God, hostile in mind, and living under the lie of being our own judges, akin to Judas's betrayal.

How can Jesus heal us? He brings both truth, powerful enough to fell His enemies, and grace, by drinking the cup of God's wrath in our place, offering us the cup of blessing. This sermon calls listeners to repent, believe in Jesus, and receive the grace and truth that alone can heal.

This sermon was originally given on 03/07/21.
