On this episode of the Registered Ranching Podcast, we sit down with Casey Mitchell a local legend from Throckmorton, Texas. Casey makes his living day working for ranchers, starting and training horses, and helping out in his dad’s saddle shop, mostly doing repairs.

He shares what it was like growing up in Throckmorton and in the shop with his dad, Robert Mitchell, a well-known saddle maker. Casey touches on his experience at Texas Tech and being a member of the Ranch Horse team there. We also get great insight about the ups and downs of making a living cowboying. Casey also shares a few good stories from life on the ranch.
