Before you thought you were a mere mortal or just human, God had already made you something greater. Who God truly created you to be is far greater than anyone has ever explained to you. But how did we get conditioned to think this way?
In Bible School Part 4, Pastor Mike Darnell takes us on a journey through church history to show how different philosophies made their way into the church—ideas like Platonism, Gnosticism, Asceticism, Transcendentalism, works-based religion, and other concepts rooted in escapism and dualism.

The church itself is powerful—it is God’s idea. But the church has drifted off course. The people of God have been neutralized, and humanity as a whole has been neutralized. This has kept the life of God, the promises of God, and Kingdom living from breaking forth in your life. The more you learn about this, the more you can realign and get back on track.
Until your mind is renewed and seated in heavenly places, authority only comes through accepting the Word. If you never receive the true message, then you don’t have the true Word. And if you don’t have the Word, then you don’t have authority.
