In this episode, Christine chats with our newest Dance Wellness Community Ambassador, Max Sinitsa, 3x World Smooth Vice-Champion, Co-Owner of Brooklyn Dancesport Club LA and LA Dance Festival & Organizer of the famous LA Dance Camp. Max was born in Kiev, Ukraine into a dancing family. His mother danced in the city theater, and his father was part of the Kiev Music Hall. Max began ballroom dancing as an after school activity at the age of 8 until he was 12. Then his family immigrated to Los Angeles and after a long 5 year break from dancing he continued on with his passion. From 2015-2020 Max Danced with Tatiana Seliverstova and their duet became truly successful. They innovated in Smooth, dancing in every major final throughout America and England. Today he continues to follow his passion through his teaching and educating the next generation. His extremely successful LA Dance Camp can also be found twice a year at Brooklyn DanceSport Club LA, of which he is a co-owner and in 2026 he will launch LA Dance Festival as a co-organizer!

Recognized as a Master of Sport of Moldova, Tatiana is celebrated for her visionary choreography that has redefined the American Smooth style on a global scale. As an official NDCA adjudicator, she shares her passion & expertise with dancers worldwide, inspiring the next generation through her teaching, choreography, and judging. Tatiana’s story is one of dedication, artistry, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, leaving an undeniable mark on the dance world.

In this episode, Christine chats with our newest DWC ambassador, Yuki Haraguchi, born in Tokyo, Japan. She started gymnastics & music lessons at the young age of three. Later she started ballroom and moved to England where she furthered her dance education. During that time she graduated from King’s College London and took lessons from World-Class Latin & Ballroom coaches. In 2007, she moved to the USA to begin competing in the International Latin style and soon after dominated American Rhythm. Yuki went on to win many titles including World Exhibition Champion 2023, 2-time US National American Rhythm Vice-Champion, US National Theater Arts Vice Champion, OSB American Rhythm Champion.

Throughout her life, she has felt an overwhelming desire to explore the mysteries of the unknown and to expand her awareness and experiences. By allowing her perspective to shift and change, Laura has learned to unleash her imagination and use it to guide her through creative processes. She passionately follows her dreams and has achieved high levels of success in her various careers. As a professional dancer, Laura won six national titles and placed fourth in the Professional Argentine Tango World Championships. She also stretched her creative muscles as a visual artist with drawings that toured across the globe. Adding to her diverse accomplishments, Laura earned her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine in 2012, which has afforded her opportunities to assist many along their journeys to realizing wellness.
