Reclaiming the present

Today I had the audacious thought, what if I decided that the days of my past holding me back from moving forward were over?

The memories that have captivated me and held me in skins of who I was?

Very real limitations my ancestors faced that have influenced my bodies capacity?

Opinions I’ve reinforced about myself, forged from my actions of the past?

What if today all of that changes?

A declaration of independence?

I hereby proclaim that my actions, opinions, and choices are in accordance with the living life force of the present moment.

That I am fully in coherence with the current energies of the land.

Today I choose to feel the limitless possibilities before me.

Maybe tomorrow I will gather acorns stashed in hallow trees of who I have been.

But for today I will seek out the newly sprouted nettle of the Now.

Fingers tingling with the sensation of Life.

Hear my plea and my prayer.

In devotion to the living energy of the present moment.
