  • Real Life Real Crime | #WhatHappenedToMadison — Episode 1
    Mar 3 2026

This episode launches a new investigative series from Real Life Real Crime: #WhatHappenedToMadison.

In Episode 1, Lynn Rollins speaks with Woody Overton about the life and disappearance of her daughter, Madison Renae Allen, a missing person from Zachary, Louisiana.

Madison was born three months premature and faced early medical challenges. Despite childhood trauma and instability, she maintained close relationships with her siblings and showed promise as a student. However, teenage struggles, relationship instability, and addiction would shape much of her adult life.

Madison became a young mother and experienced the challenges of single parenthood after her marriage ended. She sought treatment for addiction through rehabilitation programs but struggled with relapses.

After totaling her vehicle, Madison moved in with Thomas Morris in Zachary, Louisiana. She began helping care for his two children and initially appeared to have stability — a roof over her head and renewed purpose.

Thanksgiving conversations suggested she was doing well.

The last confirmed communication occurred on November 29.

When Madison failed to reach out on her birthday, her mother sensed something was wrong.

A missing persons report was filed. As the search began, statements made by Thomas Morris raised concerns due to inconsistencies.

    This episode focuses on:

    • Madison’s early life and trauma
    • Her struggles with addiction
    • Her role as a mother
    • Her move to Zachary, Louisiana
    • Her relationship and living arrangement with Thomas Morris
    • The timeline leading up to her disappearance
    • Filing the missing persons report
    • Early investigative concerns
    • The importance of community involvement

This is not the end of the story — it’s the beginning.
