Read & Roll into Spring!

Greetings from the Lake of the Ozarks and the School of the Osage! My name is Laura Hayes and you are listening to the Heritage Little Authors Podcast. During the month of March, our district hosts “Read and Roll Night” here at Heritage. Pre-K through 8th grade students and families come to Heritage to move through stations that include free books, information about handwriting, local public and school libraries, and reading games that include movement. We ended the night with a Masked Reader reveal! This year, students and families were asked, “What is your favorite children’s book?” Notable answers centered around old favorites like Dr Seuss.
