After a distinguished 34-year law enforcement career, Randy suffered a medical event that prematurely ended his career. During a drawn-out battle with his agency to collect his benefits, Randy learned that officers all over the country were struggling with the same obstacles and feeling abandoned by their agencies. This began a journey to help his fellow officers by creating The Wounded Blue.
