  • Ep 24: Here’s to the Heroes
    Mar 16 2026

Terrific program about supporting veterans and first responders. Joining us on Ranch Cast, a group of luminaries who every day endeavor to help those folks who help us on our worst days.

Rick Allen and Lauren Monroe from Raven Drum Foundation share their extraordinary stories. Rick is, of course, the drummer for Def Leppard who tragically lost an arm in the eighties.

Salinas Police Chief Carlos Acosta and Fire Chief Samuel Klemek fill us in on the remarkable work which the city is doing to help victims of trauma.

My student cohost, Reuben contributes a different generational perspective.

This is a very important program. We hope you enjoy it.
