Acerca de esta escucha
As a Black American, I get treated with Racism from Whites, Prejudice from the Black Community, because I don’t subscribe to the same political beliefs as I guess I am supposed to? Nonsense. The same rationale we as Blacks use to point the finger at Non-Blacks when they lump us into the same bucket and assume we have ill intent when we pass them on the street is the same rationale used to ostracize me because I think differently than the herd. Nevertheless, guess what? I am Black, yes and we come in a variety of emotional, political, spiritual, and societal shades of Black. I will not hurl an object through a store window in Switzerland but in no way does that discount the rage I feel over George Floyd, nor does it discount the racist encounters I have and will continue to experience the second I walk out the door living here in Europe. Wake up world. Racism is a heart issue. Don't believe me? Listen and learn.
