  • Reconciling our Stories: Acknowledging Past, Embracing Future
    Sep 29 2025

On the Sunday of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation weekend, we introduce our series by reflecting on God’s original design for humanity and the brokenness that entered the world. Drawing from the early chapters of Genesis, we will explore how sin led to shame, fractured relationships, and patterns of generational sin. We will examine humanity's attempts to build apart from God, which resulted in division and scattering, highlighting the deep need for reconciliation. This message sets the stage for our journey through Genesis, inviting us to consider how we can pursue truth, healing, and genuine reconciliation in our own intergenerational relationships, in our wider community, and in our country as we seek to restore the flow of blessing and live as image-bearers of a God who continuously pursues us, in spite of our own brokenness.

  • A Lasting Connection: United in Joy
    Sep 22 2025

This message will focus on the essential nature of spiritual family and why relationships are the bedrock of our church life. In a post-pandemic world where isolation is a reality, Paul's joy at hearing about the Thessalonians' faith and love reminds us that our shared spiritual vitality is found in meaningful connection. Paul's prayer for their faith to grow and for them to be "holy and blameless" is a call to nurture and build up one another. We'll unpack our values of being multicultural and intergenerational and address the challenge of extravagantly welcoming new people, and assuring them that they belong, fostering the kind of relational community where people are truly known and their needs are met. This message will also feature a Life Groups’ emphasis, and the significance of connecting with a Life Group community.

  • A Courageous Hope: Building Bridges
    Sep 15 2025

People are often looking for a church that is authentic and has a clear purpose. This message examines Paul's ministry in Thessalonica, which was marked by integrity, boldness, and deep affection for the people. Paul’s ministry was a model of "building bridges" by sharing not only the gospel but also his very life, "like a…mother" and a "father." We'll explore our vision to be "renewed by God's love and joining Him in renewing the city that we love," and learn how to build relational bridges with our community and with one another, driven by a selfless love that mirrors Christ's.
