In this advent message Pastor Colin talks about Jesus our Hope of Glory and points out that there are two types of hope. Temporal and Eternal. One leaves you on the edge of despair and the other gives you the foundation to live life to the fullest.

To live a generous life we must start with a firm foundation. When we recieve well we start where we meet God. In the receiving his salvation. From there we respond well to the generosity of others and learn to excell at generosity ourselves.

We have been blessed with so much in our lives. How and why do we foster generosity of our time and talents?

How do we foster generosity and a joyful spirit of giving? I Can tell you that if you are bitter as you give then you need to stop and get back to the heart of why you give.

As we draw the series "Treasuring Christ Together" to a close we focus on the final word of the Nicene Creed and the final word in the final book of the Bible.

This Creed is not just about saying what we believe in it is about living out what we just declared.

We believe in one (United) holy (Set Apart) catholic (Universal) and Apostolic (Biblical) church.

What a beutiful statement. Is it aspirational something to live into to strive for? No in this sermon we will explore this line in the creed as a declarative truth that is. God has declared it to be.
