While I used to do volunteer work during my free time through events listed on Eventbrite and the like, a curiosity for cosplay, based on things I’ve seen in gaming and online anime communities, lead me to go my first even convention experience! A chance encounter at Nekocon in 2019 helped give me the push to do more community service, discovering things like “Charity Miles” in 2020, and 757 Uplifters eventually being born in 2021! This episode explores how gaming and anime, like other things, can help bring people together!

There is so much focus on what’s wrong, that there needs to be discussion about what’s right! In my quest to find some good news to talk about, searching Google, Facebook, Reddit, and other spaces, I stumbled upon some good news that I will discuss in this episode. This episode discusses an uplifting post centered around comedian Josh Johnson, as well as Davyon Johnson, a reddit post about a man who has been battling depression, and lastly, smilebaiting, which is the opposite of ragebaiting...with ragebaiting being things done to get under people’s skin or make them upset.
