    Heaven is real. It is not a mythological place in a never-never land. Jesus said, "In My Father's House are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." Jn. 14:1-4 We have a promise of an eternal home that God has created for those who choose to follow Him. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us. But, only those who are His, who believe that He died for them and is risen again, will be there. Jesus tells us about the rich man and Lazarus. Hades and Paradise are both temporary abodes for the dead. Revelation describes the place more fully and what will take place there, including the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the sending out of the armies of Heaven to the Earth. Therefore, let us make it our aim to be well pleasing to Him, for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. The decision to follow Jesus is the most important you will ever make, and it will determine your eternal destination.

Even though we have been chosen by God from before the foundation of the world, predestined to be adopted back into His family, most of us know nothing about this wonderful possibility. We are raised in business and distractions. God has prepared a celebration for our reunion at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Jesus told a parable in Matthew where we take that invitation to the wedding feast too lightly because we have other things to do. The most tragic thing that could ever happen to us in this life is to miss this most important reason for living - to make it home to heaven.

    What time is it? How close are we? Are you ready? Is Jesus really coming back? What is the sign of His coming and of the end of the age? These are all fair questions as we race toward the Judgment. Jesus listed some of the preliminary signs, wars, famines, plagues, and P(I)andemics, and deception, apathy, offenses, vile affections, etc. They are all here, surrounding us on every hand. But what of it? The scariest part of not recognizing what time it is, is to wake up in the middle of the fire and not know what happened or what to do. Paul sheds light on the last days scenario by giving us an outline of the events just prior to the revealing of the son of perdition, the Anti-Christ. How do we think that, somehow, we will be exempt from these global events? Everyone living on the earth in those days will be part of this dramatic return of Jesus Christ. It will either be the happiest day of your life or the day, as Job said of his calamity, that he wished he had never been born. Let us not be deceived, that we should believe a strong delusion, so strong that those who are being deceived are completely blind to that deception. Many are coming into the Kingdom of God every day. They are fleeing from the wrath to come. Pray that we may escape from the wrath to come, "for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ," (I Thess. 5:9)

    When God's children forgot who they were and where they had come from, they indulged in their "flesh" and "grew fat." (Deut. 32:15) They had become complacent and had started worshipping other gods and attributed their prosperity to the demons they worshipped as gods. Jeremiah warned them about offering cakes to the "queen of Heaven" to whom they had attributed their success. Paul traces the progression of their degeneration in Romans 1:16 to rejection of their identity by rejecting the God who created them. They turned from worshipping their Creator to worshipping the creatures He had made. This rejection of the truth forced God to turn them over to a debased mind, vile passions and the spirits of uncleanness. Lord, God, forgive us and lift us up out of our descent into the tunnels of vile passions and a debased mind into the glorious liberty as the sons and daughters of God.

But closer examination of those two words reveals that making things fair does not always make things right. In this volatile and demonically charged environment where the devil is working to stir up hatred, offense, and division among the people, it is important for us to know how to deal with blatant injustice and the two justice systems we are caught in, trying to resolve conflict resolution in addressing grievances.     To solve for the problem of injustice in the world, we must put the devil in the equation.

    But where is justice? Safety? Truth? Who is powerful enough to bring this senseless destruction to an end?

    We form opinions about God based on our experiences. If our experiences are manipulated by our circumstances, which are controlled by the devil, we will lose all hope of there ever being justice and the restoration of righteousness.

    Justice will come because God will come to establish His Throne. Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of His throne. (Ps. 89:14)

    So, don't cast your vote too early in judging God or in trying to figure out what is going on down here. Just make sure you are in Him.

    Let the fear of the Lord lead you into His love because it is the longsufferingness of God that melts our hard hearts and leads us to repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. Justice is coming!!!
