REPRESENTATION with Alice Dearing

It’s Black History Month and for this week’s episode of MOVE OUT LOUD, we’re joined by athlete and Nike Athlete & Brand Ambassador, Alice Dearing: the first Black woman swimmer to represent Great Britain at the Olympic games. 

Alice co-founded the Black Swimming Association in 2020, aiming to be the go to community group for Black and poc communities in Britain across all levels of skill.

Tinuke and Alice dive deep into Alice’s progression in her career as a swimming athlete. We find out the challenges she’s faced, things she’s overcome and what she learnt about herself along the way.
