REJECTED! Sacramento Democrats Debate Sex Trafficking of Minors

  • Resumen

  • California Democrats are embroiled in a heated debate over sex trafficking legislation. Assemblymember Maggy Krell proposed a bill to increase penalties for soliciting minors, including 16- and 17-year-olds. However, Democrats in the Assembly public safety committee amended the bill to exclude older teens. Republicans attenmpted to force a legislative vote, but the Democrat-led Assembly didn't vote for it. The bill remains pending.
