The Red Sox (85-71) took the series opener over the Toronto Blue Jays with a 4-1 victory at Rogers Centre Tuesday night in Toronto. Giolito exited after giving up a 2-out walk in the 5th Inning. The runner was eventually stranded by Justin Wilson. Giolito ended up giving up 1 run on 3 Hits. He walked 4, struck out 3 and threw 98 pitchers over his 4.2 Innings. It's the 2nd straight start that Giolito failed to get out of the 5th Inning. Giolito is 0-2 with 2 no-decisions over his last 4 starts. With 2-outs in the 6th, Carlos Narvaez knocked in a pair of runs with a 2-run Double to make it 4-1 and that chased Gausman from the game.
