If you were born anytime between 1982 and 1990, you may very well have Luther Vandross to thank. Crossing boundaries and becoming an R&B pop star in the mainstream throughout the entire 'Decade of Decadence' without MTV until the late 80's (which was a difficult task to pull off in those days), 'Luther' crossed boundaries and solidified his legacy in the world of popular music with a smooth and soulful sound that inspired the likes of Usher, Tyrese, and many others.
