Welcome to All The Elements Voices, our new audio feed where we can share words and experiences directly from our community. This feed will contain audio from across our work, including recordings from live events, voiced versions of our written content, and more.
Our first episode features a monologue talk from Jasmine Isa Qureshi (they/she), a journalist, writer and marine/queer ecologist. Jasmine deconstructs and demystifies the toxicity of colonialism, normativity and patriarchy in ecological and biological practice, before starting to regrow our understanding based on queer theory, indigenous teachings and ancestral storytelling.
This talk was recorded in the All The Elements main tent as part of Timber Festival on 7th July 2024. This space was run in partnership with Timber Festival, and kindly supported by Patagonia.
