This Saturday, December 13th, 2025, Que Viva La Música paid tribute to the legendary, late Eddie Palmieri in advance of his December 15th birthday, which would have been his 89th, and to Rafael Ithier, founder of the iconic El Gran Combo. Rafael Ithier transitioned this past December 6th.

We also spoke with Tito Rodriguez, Jr., bandleader and son of the legendary Tito Rodriguez. We presented his brand new single, "La Ley Del Guaguancó," which features Gilberto Santa Rosa.
