Last week, Linda and the rest of the reps voted on a key piece of legislation: vouchers for private education. Families are being given vouchers that potentially drive funding away from public schools in Texas. Texas and fellow Texas House democrats voted against the legislation to protect families and support public education; republicans by and large voted for the legislation–and won. In this episode, Linda unpacks what happened in this legislative session, and the impact the passage of this legislation will have on Texas residents.
