Basic Roasted Pumpkin Seeds:
- Pumpkin seeds (from one medium pumpkin)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (200°C).
- Clean Seeds: Rinse the pumpkin seeds thoroughly in a colander to remove all the pumpkin pulp and strings. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Season Seeds: Place the seeds in a bowl and toss them with olive oil or melted butter until they're evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread Seeds: Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake Seeds: Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally to ensure even roasting.
