It's that time of year again as we begin the third season here at the Puck on the Parkway after a particularly slow 2025 offseason.

On episode #29, James & Dan discuss the Devils' offseason moves, including the re-signing of Luke Hughes and Jake Allen, as well as free agent signings like Connor Brown from Edmonton and Evgenii Dadonov from Dallas. The preseason concluded, lines are pretty much set, and the first puck drop this regular season for the Devils is this Thursday down in Carolina, the same place the Devils season ended just a couple months ago. Will this be the season the Devils slay the Hurricanes?

To round out the episode, James and Dan give their opinions on the recent Kirill Kaprizov and Connor McDavid extensions, more Quinn Hughes to NJ rumors, and finally give their Stanley Cup and Metropolitan division predictions for the upcoming 2025-2026 NHL season.
