Publix Opens Its Doors—to Open Carry?

When Florida’s open-carry ban was struck down by the McDaniels v. State ruling, Publix decided to follow the new legal reality and allow customers to openly carry guns in their stores.

As a dad and small business owner, I respect responsible gun ownership — but I don’t think grocery stores should become places where people shop alongside visible firearms.
