    In 2023, a beautiful 31-year-old young woman named Saltanat Nukenova was beaten to death for eight hours straight by her violent husband, the former Minister of Economy in Kazakhstan, Kuandyk Bishimbayev. The couple had been married for less than a year, and throughout this short time, the powerful former politician brutalized Saltanat behind closed doors while publicly continuing to rub elbows with the nation's elite. Given the entrenched patriarchy surrounding Saltanat and her husband's ties to the nation's elite, this innocent woman was left with virtually no options for escape. As a result, tragically, she paid for this dire fact with her life. Saltanat's heartbreaking death became an international battle cry for legal reform and women's rights in Kazakhstan, as hundreds of thousands of people, including her loving family, demanded protective rights be instilled, leading to significant changes in domestic violence laws. Feed me. F*ck me. Psychopedia me.

Absolutely binge worthy. I love this podcast. I'm an avid true crime fanatic. Normally, I would have to take breaks from the constant "doom & gloom". However, Tank brings his well informed levity while Investigator Slayer drops her wicked case bombs with her intellectually vicious rhetoric. The combination is refreshing. entertaining and hilarious. It means I NEVER have to stop listening. EVER. Keep it up. You guys ring my bell every time!

Love it already

A friend recommended this podcast to me a few weeks ago...finally decided to listen on my 1hr commute home at 2am in the morning. Rocked my socks! Perfect mix of "Haha" and "Oh, shit!" Love that they cover the grit of the cases. Brooke and Tanks chemistry and history between one another is awesome and genuine! Racing to get through more episodes.

Fantabulous!!

I love this podcast. I love how Investigator Slater kind of teaches when she goes over the case., while Tank asks the same questions that go through my mind while listening. it's interesting, funny, kind of educational, very well rounded.

little side not for Tank. I recently had a friend say to me she thinks I could drink (sober 2 years now and I am the best version of my self!) I went along with what she was saying. then later she tried passing me her drink. I had to ask "is this alcohol? " i almost just grabbed and sipped outta reflects. but it hit me she didn't understand... and I replayed your conversation with investigator Slater. where she didn't understand. But new you and your struggle. this moment comforted me and kept me on a path that some drinkers just can't fathom. it won't stop there and there isn't enough booze once activated.

so thank you.

Amazing cases

Amazing cases by investigator slater, she really brings the case to life in every way, shape, or form. Tank Sinatra makes the whole show more entertaining. In a world of trouble I can always count on pychopedia to keep me entertained for hours, I have listened to every case multiple times and would love for this podcast to keep going. There is no way to make psychopedia beteee if you don’t count that it takes a week to upload each video. Psycho pedia is amazing and thank you for making it.
