Property Predators: Combatting Real Estate Fraud

Real Estate Fraud is becoming more common. As Realtors, we have to vet our buyers and sellers before getting too far along in the process. This is why we require buyers to be pre-approved or submit proof of funds. We also have several tools at our disposal to research potential clients - apps like Forewarn, and searching public records databases to become quasi private investigators. We do this for our safety and security, and to protect our other clients as well.
