Doulas play a fundamental role in caring for pregnant women before, during and after childbirth. So much so that they prove to be a key factor in reducing the number of deaths and disabilities in newborns, as they are prepared to provide almost all services related to pregnancy and childbirth.

Founded in 2021 by a group of organizations dedicated to early childhood education and passionate about equitable access for all children to opportunities to learn through play in cultural institutions, historic sites and natural habitats, Tri-County Play Collaborative is today a partnership of 12 Play Partners in South Carolina's Lowcountry. With the support of our Wonder Funders, we offer outdoor cultural learning events and play programs for young children and their families, along with professional development trainings for their teachers.
