This is a recording from an event held by PEPF at London's Hamilton House, home of the National Education Union, on the 14th September 2021 to discuss the complex and controversial relationship between UK private schools and politics. Education journalist Fiona Millar chaired a panel including Novara Media's Ash Sarkar, low cost private education expert James Tooley, author and journalist Robert Verkaik and - kindly joining via videolink after a positive COVID test - conservative peer Lord Ralph Lucas. A fascinating panel discussion was followed by a lively Q&A with the audience, including a familiar attendee whose voice you may recognise!
