The family is representative of the relationship between Christ and His church.

Marriage and even sexuality are designed, like every other good and perfect gift from God, they are designed to make us holy.

The family is the foundational institution of human society, it is the institution that all other social constructs rise and fall.

We can love our nation and our homeland. This is true in whatever nation you live. But our love for Christ must exceed our love for nation in that we are called to seek first the kingdom of God, not the kingdom of man.

The bottom line of this article is to get involved. There is not spiritual gift of pew-sitting and complaining about a world that you are not seeking to influence.

When I think about how Christians should address difficult social sins, I always return to John 4 and Jesus’s interaction with the Samaritan women at the well. She was certainly a repeat offender in the world of adultery as she was currently with her 6th man, but Jesus’s opening words to her were not about her sexual immorality. His first words to her were, “Give me a drink of water.”
