    Brian Russell Jenkinson is an alleged predator caught in a Genesee County, Michigan investigation of Takedown with Chris Hansen. At the time of the sting, Jenkinson lived in Lapeer, Michigan. He worked in construction, building roads and working on asphalt. Jenkinson has three children. At the time, they were 22, 7, and 13 years of age. He was unable to see his thirteen-year-old daughter for unknown reasons. Jenkinson has an extensive criminal history, with arrests for Attempted Larceny, Attempted Breaking and Entering, Identity Theft, and Theft of a Financial Transaction Device. He was also charged in Arizona with Assault Causing Injury and Disorderly conduct, although those charges were dismissed. Jenkinson had been communicating with a decoy posing as a fifteen-year-old girl. Jenkinson agreed to pay her $100 to have penetrative sex and to receive oral sex. When he was told the address of the sting house, Jenkinson asked the decoy if she was affiliated with law enforcement, saying, "I just don't want you trying to set me up." Jenkinson also agreed to smoke marijuana with the decoy. When Jenkinson arrived at the sting house, Chris began reading from the chat log where Jenkinson talked about "suck and f***." Jenkinson denied ever saying anything sexual to the decoy. Instead, Jenkinson blamed the decoy, claiming that she was the one talking about sexual acts. He also defended himself by saying that, despite the decoy stating her age, she never mentioned it again. I can remember watching this show with my dad as a kid, I was actively being preyed upon online. While I never spoke up I was able to remove myself from A LOT of situations and help keep some friends out of trouble as well. Thank you Chris Hansen. As a mother now I cringe at how clueless and silly I was. I still watch reruns, plus current and now podcast and will watch with all of my children.

I've been a fan of Chris Hansen and TCAP for many, many years now. I am thrilled to find this podcast where we can revisit all the details of the TCAP investigations and once again listen to Chris Hansen tell all. These stories range from sad, infuriating, disgusting and just incredible. I found online that Dr. Wolin committed suicide in 2021 by hanging himself?! I've tried to find the autopsy report as confirmation, but lots of the links to it have been removed. if it's true, I feel for his family all the trauma he caused, leading up to the ultimate act of self destruction.
