  • Rebirth of the Presbyter and the Humble House Church
    Aug 15 2025

In today's episode, we take a deep dive into the essence of early Christianity—before it became intertwined with the Roman Empire and cult of Messianic Judaism. We’re stripping away the grandeur, the pageantry, and the complex theology of later traditions to explore a simpler, more intimate form of the faith. This is a time when Christianity was defined not by cathedrals or massive religious institutions, but by small house churches, humble leaders, and a singular gospel.

Join us as we discuss the Pre-Nicene Christians, who were not bound by the later, Judaized versions of Christianity but held firm to a faith centered on Paul’s singular gospel, written in 34 A.D., long before the four anonymous gospel accounts we know today. This early Christian movement was focused on the teachings of Jesus, with an emphasis on the concept of God as "Our Father" and a direct connection between Christ's earthly life and his divine nature.

We'll also take a closer look at the first Christian Bible, as transcribed by Saint Marcion in 144 A.D.—an early canon free from the Old Testament's Torah scriptures. The

Finally, we'll reflect on the role of the presbyter—how these leaders, unlike today’s priests, were grounded solely in Christian teachings, never distracted by the merging of Judeo-Christian traditions that would come centuries later.

This episode takes you back to a time when Christianity was not a state religion but a humble, resilient movement that survived through simplicity and faith. Tune in for a fresh perspective on the early days of Christianity—before it became what we know today.

  • Why Did The Pope Edit The Lord's Prayer - And Was He The First?
    Jun 8 2025

Through The Lord's Prayer, Jesus not only reveals to us the name of God but also how to ask for His gifts. It's hard to overstate the importance of each and every word in the most significant prayer in Christianity - and yet it has been tampered with many times over the last 2,000 years. In today's episode we take a deep dive into the history of the prayer, explore the edits in detail (including the removal of the words 'Holy Spirit') and reveal the original prayer in its entirety.

  • Did Jesus Give Peter the Keys to Heaven and Tell Him to Create a Church?
    Mar 1 2025

Today we tackle a very complex question from a viewer that gets to the heart of not only the founding of the largest church on earth but also touches on the cognitive dissonance experienced by Judeo-Christians.

In this episode we find that the apostle Peter did fulfill a leading role - just not the one that's been advertised.

  • I Know the ONE (song)
    Feb 11 2025

    "I Know the ONE'

Produced and arranged by TheChadly (at) suno.com

    Video production c/o Pre-Nicene.org

    Graphics c/o MarcioniteChurch.org

    Lyrics: (Verse 1)

They tell me love and wrath are one,

    That mercy wears a sword.

They preach a kingdom built on fear,

    Call vengeance holy war.

    (Pre-Chorus)

But I have heard a sweeter voice,

    A love untouched by shame.

Not bound to laws of blood and stone,

But grace that speaks my name.

    (Chorus)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

    (Verse 2)

They call it justice, call it right,

    To fear, obey, and kneel.

But how can love be born in chains,

Or life be signed in steel?

    (Pre-Chorus)

    Oh, I won’t bow to Sinai’s weight,

    Or kneel to earthly kings.

My heart belongs to One alone,

The Christ who sets me free.

    (Chorus)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

(Bridge – soft, then building up)

No blood was spilled to quench His thirst,

No law was writ to make me worse.

He spoke of grace, He healed the blind,

He called me child, He made me shine.

(Breakdown – spoken word, echoing effect)

Not the one who wars and schemes,

Not the one who rules through fear.

Not the one of dust and death,

But the One who draws me near.

(Final Chorus – full power, driving beat)

I know the One, the true, the light,

Not the shadow veiled in might.

Not the fire, not the flood,

But the Father of endless love.

    No curses, no demands—

Only hands that call me home.

Saint Marcion saw the truth revealed,

Through Christ alone, our God is real.

I know the One, the Christ alone.

    (Outro – quiet, reflective)

    I know the One…

    I know the One…

    And He knows me.

  • Was There a 'Virgin Birth' Story in the First Christian Bible?
    Dec 28 2024

At first it seemed like a simple question with a simple answer - but like with most things concerning Pre-Nicene Christianity there turned out to be much more to the story, including the removal of the word 'virgin' from the gospel of Matthew. Publication of this episode was deliberately delayed until a few days after Christmas to avoid any unnecessary controversy.
