    In this episode Pastor Ruth Edwards talks about having a relationship with God through prayer, what her prayer life looks like, and some of prayer's outcomes.

    Ruth leads the C3 Centenary church alongside her husband Jason, they’re located in the western suburbs of Brisbane and have a vision for a church who demonstrate the full glory and power of God.

    As well as being a pastor, Ruth is a mum of two young children, and prior to moving into full time pastoral work was a medical researcher.

    In this episode Dr Maeve Louise Heaney discusses how her prayer life developed alongside her journey to faith, and he she uses creativity to enhance her prayer time.

    Dr Maeve Louise Heaney wears a number of hats, she’s a theologian and associate professor, as well as an author, composer and songwriter.

    A native of Dublin, Ireland, Maeve has worked across the world including Spain, England and in Rome and is the director of Xavier Centre of Theology at the Australian Catholic University.

    Maeve has a particular interest in the intersection of faith, theology, music and the arts and recently released her book 'Suspended God - Music and a Theology of Doubt'.

    To celebrate 96five's Hope and Prayer month this April, we're back with a second edition of Prayer Conversations; the podcast that dives deeper into the topic of prayer.

    In this episode, Glen Cochrane talks about coming to God as a father in prayer, the Lord's prayer, and the acronym ACTS. This acronym helps us to remember the four basics of prayer: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication. 

    Along with his wife Maureen, Glen is the pastor of End Church, located in Brisbane’s inner city suburb of West End, and his passion is to see people discover new beginnings through Jesus.
