  • How to Back Yourself in Business: Insights from My Last 48 Hours in LA
    Feb 16 2025

Welcome to another episode of Powerful Stories. I’m Tory Archbold, and today, I’m diving deep into how you can back yourself in business, no matter where you’re at. I’m sharing some powerful insights I’ve learned, especially from my recent time in LA, and how you can apply them to take your business and personal growth to new heights. Plus, I’ll introduce you to 3 frameworks that will help you cultivate self-belief and show up as your true, powerful self.

    Key Takeaways:

    1. Growth Mindset:

      • Your abilities are not fixed. Embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow.
      • Shift your mindset to one of growth: failure is feedback and an essential part of your evolution.
      • Start by reframing setbacks and viewing them as stepping stones to greater success.
    2. Visualization & Affirmations:

      • If you can see it in your mind, you can create it in reality. Visualize your success and use affirmations to support your belief in yourself.
      • The power of positive self-talk is incredible – I’ve seen it work wonders for myself and many others.
      • Practice daily: visualize where you want to go and affirm, "I am worthy of this success."
    3. Self-Compassion:

      • As women in business, we often place unnecessary pressure on ourselves. But here’s the thing: you are allowed to make mistakes.
      • Be kind to yourself, especially when things don’t go as planned. We’re all human, and that’s part of the journey.
      • Remember, being compassionate with yourself gives you the strength to bounce back stronger.

In this episode, I share an incredible story from Simone Clow, a LinkedIn Top Voice and a powerhouse tech leader. Simone’s journey is a testament to the power of backing yourself. She’s gone from behind the scenes to speaking at global events like SXSW and using her voice to spark conversations about purposeful technology. Simone’s transformation is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and owning your power.

If you’re ready to take that next step in your business and elevate your global profile, don’t miss my Business Activation Retreat in LA from May 5-7. This is where the magic happens. • Want to Level Up? Here’s Why Community is Your Key to Success with Tory Archbold
      Feb 9 2025
In this episode, I want to dive into something that has been an absolute game-changer for me: the power of surrounding yourself with the right people. As you know, life has its ups and downs, and lately, I’ve been navigating life as a FIFO wife, juggling my business, my family, and a whole new world here in Riyadh. But what has kept me grounded and moving forward is the community I’ve built along the way. Whether through my Coffee Date Strategy, mentoring clients, or even staying connected with my amazing friends and peers, having the right people around you is important if you want to thrive in business and life. I recorded this episode on my morning walk—because if there’s one thing I’ve learned over these past few weeks, it’s that taking action, staying aligned with my energy, and building meaningful relationships is the key to thriving in any phase of life. And as I’ve been sharing my story and lessons learned with many of you, I’ve received countless messages asking: How do I start my own podcast? How do I connect with the right people? How do I begin building my own community? Well, this episode is for you. I’ll share how I use the tools I’ve developed in my business to stay connected, stay inspired, and create real impact. From starting a podcast with minimal resources to using simple strategies to stay aligned with your purpose—this episode is packed with practical tips to help you tap into your own community and build a network that supports your dreams. In this episode, you’ll learn about: Claiming your power leads to authentic living: When you own your story and live in alignment with your true self, everything else follows. I share how embracing your power allows you to show up authentically in all areas of your life. You don’t need a big team to produce impactful content: I’m recording this episode straight from my iPhone during my walk. That’s how simple it can be to start sharing your voice. You don’t need fancy equipment—just the courage to start. Community is essential for growth: Whether it’s personal or professional, surrounding yourself with the right people will help you elevate. In this episode, I talk about how the right community can inspire, challenge, and support you through every stage of your journey. Navigating new cultures requires understanding and adaptability: Moving to Riyadh as a FIFO wife has taught me so much about embracing new cultures and staying adaptable. I’m sharing my experience of living in a compound, adjusting to a new way of life, and how to learn from every environment you step into. The Coffee Date Framework is a powerful networking tool: Building relationships isn’t just about business—it’s about connecting authentically with the people who align with your values and vision. I’ll walk you through how to leverage this simple strategy to grow your network. Building connections can happen organically: Through shared interests, passions, and values, you can build meaningful relationships that last. I’ll share some personal examples of how I’ve made valuable connections while staying true to my purpose. Prioritizing energy and health is crucial: I believe in leading from a place of balance. That means prioritizing your health and energy first, so you can show up with clarity and focus in everything you do. Flexibility in scheduling allows for better life management: Life is unpredictable. Being flexible in scheduling your time—whether it’s business, family, or personal—gives you the space to manage it all more effectively. Meaningful connections should inspire and challenge you: The right people support you and push you to grow. In this episode, I’ll talk about how to seek out relationships that challenge your thinking and encourage you to evolve. Sharing wisdom and knowledge is vital: One of the best ways to grow a powerful community is to share what you’ve learned with others. I’ll share how this has been crucial in both my personal and professional life. • I Have Been Silent for a Reason - it's good to be back!
      Feb 9 2025

Hey, it’s Tory Archbold, and I’m so excited to be back with you on the Powerful Stories podcast. You’re probably wondering, “Why the silence?” Well, in today’s episode, I’m sharing why I’ve been quiet - and it’s not because I’ve been doing nothing, far from it. I’ve been doing a lot of deep thinking, realigning, and stepping back to focus on what truly matters. And I wanted to share it all with you.

I recorded this episode on my morning walk because I promised myself that I’d commit to walking between 10,000 and 20,000 steps a day - and this walk felt like the perfect moment to record and connect with you. I didn’t want to outsource this podcast episode to anyone else. I wanted to upload it myself. I felt that the energy of creating it myself, the rawness of it, was important. It’s a big part of why I stopped outsourcing the production and took control back. In the episode, I dive into why I made that choice and how it’s allowed me to refocus and re-energize.

You’ll hear why I paused the podcast and the importance of listening to your intuition when you need to step away from something, even when you’re doing great work. Sometimes, silence is needed to recalibrate—and that’s exactly what I did. And I’ll be honest, there was also a shift in my family dynamics that required my presence and attention.

But it wasn’t just about stepping away. It was about getting grounded. Right now, I’m juggling three countries—Australia, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S.—and it’s been a huge learning curve, particularly in balancing it all while staying healthy and focused. I’ve had to be intentional with how I spend my time, and as a result, I’ve had some major breakthroughs that I want to share with you.

I also talk about the PowerZone—my incredible community of women who’ve taken my Five-Point Story Framework and completely transformed their businesses and lives. It’s been mind-blowing to watch these women show up, own their stories, and make an impact. I’ll share a little bit about them, what they’ve accomplished, and how they’ve inspired me to keep going, even when it felt hard.

And let’s talk about money and value. After spending a significant amount on podcast production, I made the choice to invest that money differently. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’m all about aligning with the right people, the right energy, and saying “no” to what’s not working.

As I reflect on my own journey, I’ve learned to trust my intuition in a whole new way—and I share how this trust has shaped my decisions in business and in life. I want you to trust your own gut, too, whether it’s in how you run your business or how you engage with your community.

This episode is a personal, raw, and real look at where I’ve been and where I’m headed. It’s about aligning with your values, investing in the right people, and never being afraid to hit pause and recalibrate when you need to. So, here it is—no fluff, just me sharing my journey, recorded as I walked through my morning.

I’m so glad you’re back here with me.

      Much love,
      Tory xoxo

    Monday motivation

I love Tory's podcast and the natural and inquisitive way she draws powerful stories from her guests. Always positive while still addressing the challenges she and her guests have faced, this is one of my few "must listen" podcasts.
