In early spring, Roxanne visits her neighbor Martin, the local beekeeper, to collect freshly cleaned beeswax from last year’s hives. From the golden bricks of wax she carries home, she begins the slow, careful process of crafting beeswax candles for the first market of the season. Surrounded by the scent of lilac, honey, and woodsmoke, Roxanne works with quiet devotion—melting, pouring, and labeling each candle by hand. It’s a story about rhythm, renewal, and the simple beauty of creating something warm and lasting from the gifts of nature.
