Ready to Not (2019) was a pretty fantastic Dark Comedy / Slasher. It worked well when it probably shouldn't have. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026) is more of the former but, somehow, less potent, and less interesting.

Project Hail Mary is a movie that very much lives up to the hype and, in many ways, exceeds it. It's a wonderful Sci-Fy masterpiece that may define the genre for a while to come. Ryan Gosling is absolutely worth every bit of admission. PHM is as big a win as we have had in 2026 so far. Don't miss it!

Undertone may not be a masterpiece but it is creepy and very effective at what it tries to do- scare the viewer and make them think about what they've just seen and what lies in wait the darkness, both on and off screen. Is that a win? Absolutely.
