It is without exaggeration that I say that this is probably the single most informative, and helpful podcast I have ever had the privilege of listening to. The world we live in is greatly troubled... or perhaps more accurately, I am greatly troubled by the state of the world. "News" sources only seem to report what's going on. It's often one-sided and no one explains why, or what to do about it. Mike Slater is able to explain what's going on, why people are doing what they're doing, and bring it all into a historical and contextual perspective that produces a great deal of peace for me. Somehow, knowing that this has all happened before, we got through it, and that there is truly nothing new under the sun, really helps me make sense of our world. It helps me develop a sense of confidence that we will get through this again. Extremely well done podcast!

Mike Slater is truly A VOICE OF LIGHT & REASON in a day and age where we are so hesitant to speak up, state the truth, or talk about faith or our beliefs in fear of being called insensitive, intolerant, out of touch with "reality", or as politically incorrect in any and every which way possible.

THERE'S NOTHING COOKIE CUTTER ABOUT THIS PODCAST.

I found Mike Slater when he subbed in for a week of Bill O'Reilly's show and I couldn't be happier or more grateful to have found this gem of a human being. I found his particular perspective and insight - and his lack of fear to speak about whatever he wanted to - INCREDIBLY REFRESHING. Plus, the guy just has an amazing Radio voice. So rare to find someone whose voice engages you instantly. I challenge you to give him a listen and see if his style and message aren't exactly what you didn't realize you needed. I really hope you'll enjoy listening to him as much as I do.

I can't wait to see this podcast and its audience grow! Keep up the great content and positive messaging, good sir!!!
