Podcasting and community

Podcasthon is the biggest charity event in the podcasting world. It's a fast-growing non-profit initiative that unites thousands of podcasters globally. There's no money involved it’s all about raising awareness for various charitable causes. This episode is made to support The Committee to Protect Journalists, an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes press freedom worldwide.

I talk about why this charity is important on this episode. My interview is with Elysia Brenner and Alex Graham, two people working on very different podcasts but with a similar key theme; community. We discuss why this is so important as well as careers and whether video is really a must.
