Hello friends! Meet Indian Army veteran and 1971 Bangladesh Liberation war hero Col Ashok Kumar Tara (R), who rescued Bangladesh founder Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's family from the hostage of Pakistan Army. With unprecedented wit and courage, Col Tara, who was then a major in Indian Army forced Pakistan Army soldiers and officers to surrender. He achieved the feat unarmed when Sheikh Mujib's family and he himself was under gun point. Col Tara won the Vir Chakra for battle of Gangasagar, India's third highest war time award for his bravery. Col Tara was also awarded Bangladesh highest civilian award, the 'Friends of Bangladesh Liberation War Honour', for rescuing Sheikh Hasina and her family. Col Tara, who consider Bangladesh his second home, reveals many startling facts about the unrest in Bangladesh and deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
