Hershall, we had it today... I knew (or had a strong feeling) that someone in the listening audience would get proverbially get fed up (phrase meaning exasperated) with the musical choices of the two youngest among us. They did and we were here to watch the show... (actually listen). Before that happened we talked about rostrums, phone pinky, Everett Triplet, and a whole lot of important stuff. Hershall, What a trash heap this entire podcast is... I don't even know where to begin but I can tell you this, we began with whispers and it all went down hill from there as it usually does. We did hopefully redeem ourselves in the end with a beautiful song but it was a long time getting there. I tried to ease in to a new segment and got completely pummeled (big word for smashed in the face) by the boys accusing me of only wanting to talk about my recent sabbatical (big word for vacation). We went from there to a discussion about sniffing couches. We also had an awkward story about ticks and skin tags... really, I don't know why we even tried recording today but hopefully you will understand and enjoy!

Hershall, we took a long stroll down memory lane and right as we were walking along Gen Z Boy, Brooks, came running long side us. Hersh, I don't want you to get too excited but we have a more traditional show today... That is due to the lack of Gen Z Boy. He wasn't able to make it because of life responsibilities but we carried on and have no plans of dropping him permanently from Pod'N Me. We got back to the basics today! Hersh, it has been a while since we heard from our guest today and let's just go ahead and say, he took a big "W" in the end, but before that happened we had a great discussion with the boys about several wonderful topics including: my stellar parenting skills and speaking before thinking. Our very own Deacon Dustin contributed the song for this week and we couldn't figure out whether we liked the premise or not. When our guest, the former fan Bryce, showed up, he threw in some valued thoughts and blew the minds of all in studio and then to be frank... he killed the "name that tune" segment. Hersh, we have had a plethora (big word for abuncha) disasters when it comes to the ministry of low expectations but today may have taken the cake (an old proverb that describes what we're saying here today). We recorded 30 mins of the most flawless audio/video we may have ever recorded and wasn't recording at all... It was the same as if we were 4 friends (loose term) talking on the speaker phone to an old friend and none of it was captured... So, we started over but that didn't hinder the usual underwhelming quality of the program. We had a wonderful day today because we got to talk to an old friend of Pod'N Me and he shared a special project that he has been working on for the past few months. He's a preacher friend of mine, Rev. Zach Cordle, that I met a few years back and he actually used to do some podcasting himself. He has been doing a music project for a very special cause as you will hear on the program today. Hannah Lloyd Cornett is recording a music CD in honor of her brother and sister-in-law that were tragically taken from this life while doing mission work. The proceeds from this CD will go to a building at the Bible College that they attended and is being constructed in their honor.

Hershall, all I can say is buckle up for this one... We went longer than normal but there was no good stopping place. The competition was palpable (big word for felt) in studio 18. Speaking of felt, that's exactly what was brought up during a long rant about being insured by our Deacon Dustin... yeah, roofing felt! I think that is the first time tha was been discussed on the trash-cast. We enjoyed a new segment of wrong answers called "Riffin' on the Road" that has promises of gaining all sorts or new ways into the vacuum of the mind of Gen Z Boy, Brooks. He also shared an uncomfortable moment for me as a minister in a local electrical supply store. We had a long fought-out Tune battle in the end.
